The AfriHealth Consortium is an international consortium of health entrepreneurs that has played a pivotal role in promoting the healthcare industry in Nigeria, showcasing its strengths and working towards improving the sector to reduce medical tourism. The consortium organizes well-attended quarterly health expos, bringing together industry players, including producers, consumers, and regulators of healthcare services in Nigeria.
In his acceptance speech, Prof. Ugboaja expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating that it serves as an incentive to double his efforts in ensuring that NAUTH meets its institutional vision. He also emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership with AfriHealth, as it is expected to provide a significant boost to the hospital's services and visibility.
